Create a luxury spa style bathroom


Dark wood cabinetry gives a feel of sophistication, choose wall hung cabinetry for ultra contemporary & team it with sleek copper & black tiles. Add candles and fluffy towels for that real spa-style chic. A big bath is key for ultimate relaxation to unwind at the end of your busy day. This is a real grown up feeling space with his & her's basins. If you have space for a comfortable chair why not add it in like they have here, its a great place to sit & paint your toe nails.

A pretty Country kitchen Tour



This traditional country style kitchen is a stunning example of bespoke cabinetry. A mix of cream painted & natural oak doors with some cleverly designed features like the free standing pantry, a glass corner dresser unit with handy little drawers & an integrated fridge built in next to the sink. House Tour

Vintage country home

Today's house tour is a beautifully vintage styled home, With classic timber frame this property is suprisingly a new build yet looks like a well established country home. Ok so lets peek inside......

This country feeling kitchen-diner is alive with pretty candy coloured furniture & accessories. I love the retro vintage vibe here its a very comfortable feeling space & very easy to achieve.




For a similar cathedral arch cabinet door Crown Kitchens do a door range called 'Victoria' with a panelled door in an oyster finish. The neutral toned tiles are from a range called 'Le Carve' that I stock in my own showroom.

It would be a complete crime to hide away your beautiful crockery
& here they have used a cute pink plate rack to add a quirky touch of retro nostalgia. If you cant find a kitchen range with a colour you like (many now do retro colours,) how about buying a pine plate rack & painting it. If all else fails plan glass units into your kitchen to display your dinnerware instead.

Retro vintage signs are hugely popular & finish the look.

Lets move on & take a look at the rest of the house.


The dinning room & lounge have a more traditional look opting for dark wood furniture. The dinning room is styled with cream walls, curtains & flooring with pretty floral seat-covers for the dinning chairs for a really formal country style.

The living room is also styled in a traditional country home style with neutral coloured walls, curtains & flooring as well as contrasting cream sofa & dark brown leather chair & dark wood coffee table.


The main bedroom is painted in neutral like the rest of the house & with lots of fresh white furniture & plenty of floral fabrics for a really vintage country style.

With colour Inpsiration today I wanted to keep with the summery theme with this zesty colour palette, whether teamed with bright blues, sunny yellows, hot pinks or cosy browns it certainly packs a punch.
