Vintage Wedding Fair

                               Beautiful vintage styled table scapes

Yesterday I went to a vintage wedding fair with my friends Katie & Joanne. This was a working outing none of us is actually tying the knot. Katie already runs a succesful business http://www.katieschaircovers.co.uk/ hiring out chair covers for weddings & is looking into expanding things including table scaping which Joanne & myself are more than excited to get involved in. The vintage wedding theme really was wonderful although as beautiful as Hedingham Castle is I am not sure its the right setting for a vintage wedding it makes me think more in the line of medievel banquet. But there is something very British about a vinatge wedding dont you think? Bunting was hung everywhere & the stall holders were all dressed up in 1940/50's outfits, it was a lovely atmosphere. As well as the endless stalls many of which seemed to tease us with cupcakes (yes we sampled on each stall as it would have been rude not to after all.) There was a vintage themed tearoom where we enjoyed scrumptious homemade treats & tea in vintage tea cups with saucers while being entertained with music by The Tootsie Rollers & a burlesque balancing act.
The table scapes where gorgeous, cute little cups & saucers & tea pots filled with flowers, some draped with petals or pearls.

There was a number of stalls from cupcakes, to wedding favours like sopas & sweet treats, photographers, a photo booth, vintage wedding dresses & vintage dress hire, vintage hats & shoe stalls, jewellery stalls, oh I could go on. It was a lovely day & the sun was shining, the music was delightful & the atmosphere of the whole event was incredible. Lots of ideas for us girls to ponder over together.
